Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems in Idaho is seeking a Journeyperson HVAC Technician to perform startup, testing and commissioning of new HVAC and plumbing systems on commercial projects. You will read prints, document activity, and collaborate with trades while mentoring apprentices.

Overtime and weekend work may be required; valid driver's license required. Be prepared to coordinate with GC/PM and ensure QA/QC and safety protocols are followed, with opportunities for training and advancement within

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or apprenticeship completion in HVAC & refrigeration or related trade.
• Three+ years as a commercial Journeyperson HVAC Technician or equivalent.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and plumbing prints/specs.

Responsibilities

• Startup and mechanical testing of HVAC and plumbing equipment.
• Mechanical and plumbing system commissioning and testing.
• Complete startup and commissioning documentation.
• Read and interpret prints, specs and contract docs.
• Maintain documentation of daily activities using project reporting procedures.
• Mentor and train journeypersons and apprentices.
