Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems seeks a skilled Journeyperson HVAC Technician to lead startup, testing and commissioning of new HVAC and plumbing systems on commercial projects in Sparks, NV.

Under supervision, you will perform mechanical commissioning, read drawings, and document activities while coordinating with GC/PM and ensuring safety and QA/QC adherence. A valid driver's license and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Three or more years as a commercial Journeyperson HVAC Technician or equivalent.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with other technicians/team members.
• Valid (non-commercial) driver's license with MVR meeting company standards.

Responsibilities

• Startup and mechanical functional testing of HVAC and plumbing equipment.
• Mechanical system commissioning and testing.
• Plumbing system commissioning and testing.
• Document startup and commissioning activities.
• Read and interpret mechanical and plumbing prints and specifications.
• Maintain documentation of daily activities and reporting procedures.
• Mentor and train journeypersons and apprentices.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and QA/QC protocols are met.
