Capstone Mechanical, LP. is seeking a Sheet Metal Foreman for our Crown Point, IN facility. You will install duct systems and air conditioning duct work, including boilers flue and exhaust systems, while coordinating field tasks and ensuring safety.

You will read blueprints and shop drawings, supervise apprentices and journeypersons, and liaise with owners, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain project quality and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• Lead and supervise sheet metal teams on site.
• Communicate effectively with owners, contractors and crew.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs and shop drawings.
• Verify measurements and ensure quality workmanship.

Responsabilités

• Installs duct systems and air conditioning duct work.
• Coordinates installation of HVAC duct systems, exhaust, and ventilation systems.
• Runs jobs and assigns daily tasks to crew and measures productivity.
• Acts as primary liaison with owners, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Verifies field measurements and conditions.
• Ensures proper installation methods and safety standards.
• Reads blueprints and shop drawings accurately.
• Maintains a clean work area and follows procedures.
• Assists with related maintenance tasks as needed.
• Generates work orders and change orders for customer needs.
• Supervises on-site apprentices and journeypersons.
