Capstone Mechanical, LP. is seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic to layout, fabricate, assemble and install commercial ductwork in Fort Myers. You will read blueprints, measure and cut, and install rectangular, round, and spiral systems to match project specs.

Ideal candidates have hands-on duct installation experience, work well independently or with crews, and deliver quality workmanship while meeting schedules. OSHA/social safety standards compliance is expected.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience installing commercial HVAC sheet metal ductwork.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and installation specs.
• Knowledge of ductwork systems, fittings, supports, and installation methods.
• Proficient with common sheet metal hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform precise field measurements and basic trade calculations.
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet project schedules.

• Install commercial HVAC ductwork, including rectangular, round, spiral, and flexible ducts.
• Measure, cut, bend, assemble, and install sheet metal components per drawings.
• Install supply, return, exhaust, and outside-air duct systems.
• Install duct fittings, transitions, elbows, dampers, access doors, and other components.
• Coordinate ductwork connections to air handling units and related equipment.
• Read blueprints, shop drawings, and installation details.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on site.
• Communicate progress and material needs to supervision.
