Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in our single-family rental homes. You will perform preventative maintenance and respond to service requests while upholding safety and quality standards.

Required are a high school diploma, 5+ years of maintenance experience, and HVAC certification with EPA certification; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC Certification preferred; EPA certification required.
• EPA Certification required for service work.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance.
• Experience in residential appliance repair is preferred.
• Must supply own basic tools.
• Valid driver’s license in the working state.
• Willingness to be on-call, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in single-family rental homes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and targeted repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC components.
• Repair or replace defective equipment and report major repairs before expenditures.
• Maintain property safety and comply with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Interact with residents and vendors professionally; manage multiple requests.
