Job summary

Progress Residential, a leader in single-family rental homes, seeks a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot and repair residential HVAC systems on our properties. You will work with the Property Management team to ensure reliable comfort and safety for residents.

The role requires a high school diploma, EPA certification, 5+ years in maintenance, own tools, valid driver’s license, and willingness to on-call.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license in the working state.
• Own basic tools to perform ongoing service in residential environment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work on stairs.
• On-call availability including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential single-family homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and service requests.
• Diagnose advanced HVAC issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
• Report major repairs or replacements before expenditures of funds.
• Uphold safety standards and comply with regulations and company policies.
