Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician in Ellicott City, MD to inspect, diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment and water heaters. You will perform maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in HVAC, EPA-608 certification, state licensing, and a valid driver's license. The role includes on-call duties, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 4 years of work experience in HVAC and 1 year of related work experience.
• All required State licensing.
• Valid EPA-608 Technician Certification, Type 2 or higher.
• Demonstrated clear written and spoken communication.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Proficient with service tools and materials for HVAC systems.
• Experience servicing gas and electric water heaters.
• Sales ability to recommend and promote services.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on residential heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
• Assist in sealed system HVAC, water heaters, or advanced appliance repair.
• Provide exceptional customer service and explain work performed and recommendations.
• Complete service tickets, time logs and material usage documentation.
• Be on-call and respond to emergency situations.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
