Job summary

Service Experts Heating & AC LLC in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to diagnose and service residential and light commercial systems under minimal supervision. You will interact with customers, identify problems, and ensure high quality repairs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in HVAC with technical training certification
• EPA and safety certifications required
• Valid licensing or certification as required by laws for the work area
• Able to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant and duct systems
• Able to stand, climb ladders and work in attics/basements/crawl spaces

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls under minimal supervision
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve customer problems promptly and courteously
• Service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment
• Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to prevent breakdowns
• Document work, collect payments when applicable, and communicate status to dispatch
• Promote products and services to customers and relay replacement leads to sales team
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and inventory and ensure safety compliance
