Job summary

Service Experts LLC is hiring an HVAC technician in Columbia, MD to perform diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial systems. You will communicate with customers, promote services, and work under supervision to ensure high customer satisfaction.

The role requires EPA safety certs, 4+ years in HVAC, and a valid driver’s license. The position offers top pay with incentives, generous PTO, and growth opportunities across the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 4+ years’ experience in HVAC
• EPA and safety certifications required
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems

Responsibilities

• Works under minimal supervision to perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner
• Diagnoses and performs services on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed
• Responsible for delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed to complete service work
• Communicates with dispatch to provide status reports of activities and availability
• Promotes products and services to customers and calls Sales for replacement leads
• Ensures company vehicle, tools, and stock are maintained
• Represents the company professionally and follows standard procedures
