Job summary

Service Experts Heating & AC LLC in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking an HVAC technician to diagnose and service residential and light commercial equipment under general supervision. You will communicate with customers, answer questions, and promote products and services while delivering outstanding satisfaction.

The role covers performing diagnostics, maintenance, parts delivery, and proper documentation. You will work with a Field Supervisor or General Manager and represent the company

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 2+ years' experience.
• EPA and safety certifications and state/local licensing as required.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Proficient use of HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Diagnose and resolve customer problems with courtesy and timeliness.
• Inspect, diagnose, and service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Record call details and collect payments as required.
• Demonstrate professional, ethical representation of the company.
• Ensure company vehicles and tools are properly stocked and maintained.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote products and services.
