Job summary

Service Experts Heating & AC LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform diagnostics and service on residential and light commercial equipment. You will work under minimal supervision, communicate with customers, and promote company services while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include diagnosing heating, cooling, ventilation systems, performing routine maintenance, handling parts, and coordinating with dispatch to ensure accurate status updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 4+ years' experience.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Proficient at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical/refrigerant/duct systems.
• Strong communication, time-management and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls under minimal supervision.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, timely manner.
• Diagnostics and service on heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Delivers and removes parts required to complete service work.
• Records information on a handheld device and completes paperwork accurately.
• Communicates with dispatch to provide status updates.
• Promotes products and services and reports replacement leads.
• Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are properly maintained.
• Represents the company professionally and adheres to procedures; restocks vehicle stock as needed.
• Maintains regular, reliable attendance.

Education

High school diploma or GED with additional training and 4+ years' experience in HVAC with technical training certification required
