Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC in Lexington, SC, is hiring a Service Technician – HVAC IV to service, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment including chillers, boilers and building systems. You will also perform preventive maintenance and support project teams.

The role requires 7+ years of commercial HVAC experience, Universal EPA Certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to train technicians and communicate with customers. On-call duties and safety are integral.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment specifications.
• Ability to write reports.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers and building systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Drive to and from customer sites.
• Train technicians of all levels.
• Troubleshoot air and water flow.
• Complete equipment logs for Project Managers and upload to database.
• Communicate with Team Lead, Coordination Staff, Sales Staff and Customers.
• Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Observe and report unsafe work environments.
• Be included in on-call rotation as needed.
• Maintain company tools and vehicle.
