United Mechanical in California is seeking a Project Manager - HVAC Service to lead commercial HVAC and Plumbing installations, service projects, and large-scale repairs from estimating through closeout.

You will own project delivery, financial performance, and customer satisfaction while coordinating with service technicians, field leadership, sales teams, vendors, and subcontractors to deliver cost-effective solutions.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of project engineering experience in HVAC/MEP/construction.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing systems, including ductwork, piping, refrigeration, and energy efficiency.
• Proficiency with estimating and project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, FastPIPE, and FastDUCT.

Mansioni

• Lead Project Execution: Manage assigned service projects from planning through closeout, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
• Develop Estimates & Proposals: Define project scope and prepare detailed estimates and proposals for repairs, replacements, retrofits, and installations.
• Own Project Financials: Track project costs, review financial performance, manage change orders, and adjust to support profitability.
• Coordinate Field Operations: Develop schedules with Area Supervisors, Foremen, and service teams to align expectations and resources.
• Manage Procurement & Vendor Relationships: Obtain vendor quotes, negotiate pricing, and coordinate equipment, materials, and labor.
• Build Customer Relationships & Drive Sales: Communicate throughout the project lifecycle and pursue opportunities to meet sales goals.
• Maintain Documentation & Closeout: Keep contracts, change orders, reports, and systems current; prepare closeout packages.
• Support Team Performance: Mentor assigned personnel and identify opportunities to improve execution and service delivery.
• Promote Safety & Compliance: Ensure work follows safety requirements and company policies.
