Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Manager to provide senior leadership for a team of service technicians and engineers across commercial HVAC, controls, and plumbing services. You will drive safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while managing resources, budgets, and project scope.

You will partner with sales, estimating, and operations to support proposals, site visits, and technical input to minimize downtime and deliver reliable service solutions nationwide.

Qualifications

• HVAC, controls, plumbing, or mechanical service leadership experience.
• Relevant trade certifications (EPA 608, NATE, OSHA 30-hour) a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of service technicians and engineers to meet safety, quality, and service goals.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and supervision to build team capability.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, vendor management, and fleet management.
• Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards; report progress to leadership.
• Collaborate with sales, estimating, and operations to support proposals and customer solutions.
• Coordinate technical support and maintenance; visit key customers to ensure expectations are met.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and grow service staff.
• Maintain reporting on milestones, risks, and performance; update leadership.
• Establish standards, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to improve efficiency.
• Champion safety, quality, and customer service across sites.
