Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Service Manager in Pasadena, CA to oversee all field labor, materials, safety, and project performance for the Services unit. You will manage field teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence while fostering strong customer relationships.

The role emphasizes leadership, risk management, and continuous improvement, including safety oversight, labor planning, and collaboration with senior management to drive profitable results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in the service business.
• Ability to lead a technician team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed financial expectations, budgets and goals, monitoring pricing and reviewing cost data.
• Monitor and maintain cash position of business unit and resolve cost disputes.
• Build and sustain customer relationships to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Manage dispatch procedures and effective communications with field staff resources.
• Management of all field labor with the business unit including development of service teams and roles and responsibilities.
• Coordinate with Business Unit Manager regarding hiring/termination of technicians and performance reviews.
• Initiate labor productivity improvements with Field Supervisors to ensure quality of work.
• Estimation of service repair and replacement projects.
• Safety and Risk Management oversight including contracts and insurance.
• Assist Field Supervisor in regulating quality control on service jobs.
• Maintain employee morale and retention.
• Maintain inventory and tool procurement for service vehicles.
• Maintain continuing education program for Service field personnel.
• Perform Services' orientation for new hires.
• Conduct project kickoff meetings to coordinate small jobs with Management.
• Coordinate subs and vendors as related to Service jobs.
• Assist in development of software and technology tools (Estimation and hand-held devices).
• Participate in staff meetings addressing management issues as well as training and productivity improvements.
