Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced HVAC/R technician for Sierra Vista, AZ. You will install and service HVAC and refrigeration systems, diagnose complex issues, and ensure compliance with building codes and EPA standards.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, leading field teams, and coordinating service calls. The role requires on-call availability and driving a company vehicle within the region.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification required.
• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance or construction-related work in commercial HVAC/R.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC and refrigeration systems including ductwork and controls.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Lead field teams and mentor apprentices on procedures and safety.
• Coordinate service calls and manage workload using scheduling tools.
