Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our Fountain, CO store. You will oversee repairs of refrigeration and HVAC systems, using hand, digital and power tools to support store operations.

The role requires extensive commercial refrigeration experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR. You will lift up to 75 pounds and frequently work at heights in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant handling certification.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand, digital and power tools.
• Receive and document repair work orders to support stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and diagnose equipment issues.
• Complete required safety and operating training.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA regulatory compliance per Walmart policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
