Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repairs within Walmart facilities' Refrigeration HVAC equipment teams at local stores.

The role requires extensive experience, EPA refrigerant certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work at heights and lift up to 75 pounds. You will ensure safe, compliant maintenance and emergency response across store assets.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using HVAC skills and tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights.
