Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our local store support team and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment. You will use hand, digital, and power tools to complete jobs in a fast-paced environment to maintain Walmart facilities.

The role requires extensive experience with commercial refrigeration, rack systems, and EPA refrigerant handling, plus a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
