Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced HVAC/R technician to oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems at the Oakwood, GA location. You will lead field teams, diagnose complex issues, and ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance on every job.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance planning, coordinating with vendors, and keeping detailed service logs and photos for each work order.

Qualifications

3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration or equivalent.
EPA certification for refrigerant handling required.
Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Oversees installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems and components.
Leads diagnostics and troubleshooting across commercial/industrial systems.
Maintains preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
Manages field teams, coordinates service calls, and mentors technicians.
Ensures OSHA and EPA compliance and documents activities.
Maintains vehicle and equipment, including fueling and inspections.
