Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Senior Technician, Facility Services (HVAC/Refrigeration) in Dalton, GA. The role oversees installation, commissioning, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance of HVAC/R systems across multiple supermarket sites.

Expect on‑call rotations, workload management, parts ordering, and client communication to ensure uptime and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has deep experience with DX, CO2, glycol systems, and supermarket rack refrigeration, plus EPA refrigerant handling

Qualifications

• 3+ years HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II/Universal).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• 1 year experience in plumbing, electrical, or material handling; Walmart store experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversees installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems at sites.
• Leads diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Maintains preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Manages rack systems and supermarket refrigeration units for optimal performance.
• Documents work orders, maintenance logs, and photos before/after work.
