Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair activities within our Refrigeration HVAC team at a local Walmart facility. The role uses commercial HVAC skills and a range of tools to complete jobs, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The position requires extensive experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and pass MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using HVAC skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely and comply with OSHA/EPA guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
