Job summary

Walmart Morrilton facility is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Technician to oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems, including ductwork, control panels, and building pneumatics. The role leads diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues, and manages maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.

You will supervise field teams, mentor technicians, and participate in on‑call rotation to support critical needs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration experience.
• 6 years of HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration with AAS.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant handling certification.
• HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman where required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Commercial driving record with limited violations in recent years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems.
• Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage supermarket refrigeration rack systems and walk-ins for optimal performance.
• Coordinate field teams and mentor technicians.
• Submit and maintain maintenance logs and service documentation.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, and safety compliance in all field activities.
