Job summary

Walmart is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician for Mountain Home, AR. You will install and calibrate refrigeration systems and building controls, interpret blueprints, and ensure compliance with codes across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• Or 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant handling certification.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork and control panels.
• Configure low ambient systems and direct digital controls.
• Interpret layouts and schematics to ensure proper setup and code compliance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Lead field teams and mentor apprentices on procedures and safety.
• Drive to service calls and manage a region’s workload.
• Coordinate with external providers and on-call duties.
• Submit warranty claims and service reports.
