Job summary

Hussmann Corporation in Georgetown, SC seeks an experienced HVAC/R Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain supermarket refrigeration and temperature-controlled merchandisers. You will support start-up and service management with accurate estimates and documentation.

The role requires EPA 608 certification, valid driver's license, and 10+ years field experience (or 7+ years with tech school). Night/weekend work may be required, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• 10+ years field experience or 7+ years with technical school certification.
• Ability to lead technicians and bid service/repair jobs.
• Willingness to work nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls for maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of refrigeration, heating, and air-conditioning systems.
• Assist other technicians with startup of new refrigeration equipment.
• Maintain documentation and communicate progress in a timely, professional manner.
• Manage truck inventory and order/receive parts with minimal waste.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and EMS controls.
