Job summary

Hussmann Corporation in Goose Creek, SC is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems for supermarkets and cold storage facilities. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs with limited supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, HVAC-R schooling preferred, and EPA 608 Certification. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; HVAC-R technical schooling preferred.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years field experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnosis and repair of refrigeration, heating, and air-conditioning systems in supermarkets and cold storage facilities.
• Execute preventative maintenance, leak detection, and component replacements.
• Document work tickets, time sheets, and invoicing with hand-held devices.
• Maintain truck inventory and ensure vehicle and tool readiness.
