Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a qualified technician to service supermarket refrigeration systems and display cases in Goose Creek, SC. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration, heating and air conditioning equipment with a lead or master technician for guidance.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, leak detection, component replacement, and accurate paperwork. Must have HVAC-R training; EPA 608 certification preferred and valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC-R technical schooling preferred.
• 5 years field experience or 3 years with certification.
• Internal candidates: 1 year as qualified technician with OJT.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed, routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and merchandisers.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, heating and air conditioning systems with supervision.
• Conduct preventative maintenance for convenience stores and supermarkets, including leak checks.
• Detect and repair leaks on racks and piping; replace motors and components as needed.
• Complete tickets and electronic paperwork; use handheld computer for invoicing.
