Job summary

AIRO Mechanical in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking an HVAC Superintendent to oversee projects from start to finish on-site. You will manage HVAC installations, ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion, and lead a team of technicians and subcontractors.

You will read and interpret construction plans, enforce codes and safety protocols, manage resources and budgets, communicate with clients, and maintain accurate project records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience overseeing HVAC projects in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation methods.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and construction practices.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• HVAC licenses/certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC projects from planning through execution to meet objectives.
• Supervise technicians, subcontractors, and other personnel.
• Ensure installations comply with codes, specs, and safety standards.
• Enforce safety protocols with regular trainings.
• Manage resources and budgets to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain client relationships and provide project updates.
• Maintain project records and as-built drawings.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and report progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
