Job summary

AIRO Mechanical in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking an HVAC Superintendent to lead projects from kickoff to completion on commercial and industrial sites. You will plan, schedule, supervise technicians and subcontractors, ensure code compliance, and maintain safety and quality throughout installations.

You will manage resources, track progress, communicate with clients, enforce safety protocols, and keep accurate reports.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HVAC projects in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and codes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations in construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read construction plans and specs.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
• HVAC certifications/licenses a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC projects, plan, schedule, and execute to meet objectives.
• Supervise HVAC technicians, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Ensure installations meet project specs, codes, and safety standards.
• Enforce safety protocols with regular meetings and inspections.
• Manage materials, equipment, and labor for efficiency.
• Maintain client relationships and provide progress updates.
• Identify and resolve project issues to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain daily/progress/as-built records.
• Monitor budgets and control costs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
