Job summary

Custom Mechanical Solutions is seeking a Project Manager II to lead the administration, execution, and delivery of complex commercial HVAC projects in the Pacific Northwest. You will drive project success, coordinate with clients and vendors, manage budgets, schedules, and resources, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 5 years of project management, HVAC, mechanical, or construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, construction process, and project execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft and ability to adapt to CRM software.
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
• Financial literacy and experience managing budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and profitability.
• Ability to work in a typical office environment with occasional job site visits.
• Opportunities for advancement into Sr. Project Manager and Team Lead Roles.

Responsibilities

• Manages mid-to-large-sized HVAC equipment projects with increased complexity, scope and customer demands.
• Manages 30–35 HVAC equipment projects concurrently with varying scope and dollar value, typically ranging from $1M to $5M.
• Oversees project execution from initiation to completion with minimal supervision.
• Coordinates with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Manages project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Anticipates project risks and develops solutions before issues impact schedules, budgets, or customer satisfaction.
• Builds trusted relationships with customers by anticipating needs and delivering exceptional service.
• Develops and implements project strategies and process improvements that increase project efficiency and consistency.

Education
