gpac is seeking a Senior HVAC Project Manager – Design-Build Mechanical in the Kansas City area. The role leads large commercial and industrial HVAC projects with in-house engineering, fabrication, and installation oversight across the full lifecycle.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years in HVAC PM within commercial construction, experience in design-build, and strong leadership and communication skills. Competitive compensation and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of HVAC project management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience in design-build environments is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC scopes on ground-up commercial and industrial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and execution across the project lifecycle.
• Oversee multiple projects, maintaining schedule, cost, and scope alignment.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, fabrication, and field teams to drive execution.
• Coordinate with owners, GCs, and design teams on scope and timelines.
• Review contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders to maintain project control.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve jobsite challenges proactively.
