Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is assisting a large mechanical and plumbing contractor in recruiting a Preconstruction Manager. This full-time role focuses on early project phases, client satisfaction, and cross-functional coordination on HVAC/Plumbing projects.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering background, 5+ years of project design/engineering experience, and familiarity with building codes. Proficiency in BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar required.
• 5+ years of project design/engineering experience with commercial mechanical HVAC/Plumbing construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of State Building and HVAC/Plumbing Codes; others are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client satisfaction in early phase of upcoming projects.
• Manage the schedule planning, designing, and construction of projects.
• Review all mechanical project requirements with senior management team.
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with building owners and general contractors.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
