Job summary

Superior Comfort Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Department Manager in Rhode Island to lead day-to-day operations, ensure safe and on-time project delivery, and manage staff, contractors, and customer communications.

The role emphasizes revenue growth, regulatory compliance, and technical excellence, with a focus on delivering top-tier customer experiences and long-term comfort for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in residential HVAC service/installation.
• Strong knowledge of heating/cooling/ventilation and IAQ.
• Ability to coach field teams and drive results.
• Familiarity with local HVAC codes and permits.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Clean driving record and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor HVAC technicians and subcontractors.
• Coordinate daily HVAC service, maintenance, and installation workflows.
• Monitor KPIs, drive profitability, and ensure targets are met.
• Provide hands-on technical support and maintain quality standards.
• Ensure high-quality, timely, respectful customer service.
• Recruit and develop plumbing staff and foster team growth.
