Job summary

Therma is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead HVAC/mechanical and plumbing projects from San Jose, CA. This full-time, on-site role requires coordinating multiple projects, developing scope of work, budgets, and cost estimates while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC project management, strong communication, and the ability to lead diverse teams. On-site work is required; remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Project Manager in HVAC Mechanical/Plumbing.
• Ability to operate independently and autonomously, and know when to consult with others.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering/Construction Management or relatable field preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains professional communications with co-workers and clients.
• Coordinates multiple projects and teams to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Develops scope of work, budgeting and estimating costs.
• Prepares project documents, plans and submittals (mechanical, piping, plumbing).
• Reviews and projects all project costs and procurement.
• Leads client meetings and maintains client satisfaction.
• On-site presence during construction and critical project times.
• Mentors department staff and ensures project accountability.
