Job summary

Therma, a Legence Company, seeks a Project Executive in San Jose to lead HVAC project initiatives from estimates to successful completion. The role demands coordinating cross-functional teams, guiding sales activities, and ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.

You will collaborate with department heads, manage project risks, and drive client relationships while delivering high-quality mechanical solutions for varied market sectors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in estimating, design and management of HVAC projects ranging from $50,000 to $25+ million.
• Operate independently yet know when to consult with others in the organization.
• Experienced in successfully developing new business.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and project management abilities with organizational skills.
• Current licensed PE preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead staff across departments for projects from inception to completion.
• Assist in sales activities: prepare estimates/proposals, review contracts, conduct meetings and finalize sales.
• Supervise project activity from inception to completion and manage costs.
• Prepare budget projections and communicate strategies, change orders, and best practices.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
• Attend project management and construction meetings and coordinate pre-construction meetings.
• Directly supervise Project Engineers, Coordinators and supervisory personnel.
• Manage project risks and identify potential issues.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant standards.
