Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver mechanical and plumbing systems across a wide range of building types within a multidisciplinary environment. You will collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and contractors from concept through construction to ensure high-quality, code‑compliant project delivery.

Requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (ABET‑accredited) and 7+ years of building systems design experience; PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 7+ years of mechanical/plumbing building systems design experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, hydronic, controls, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Support design of HVAC, plumbing, hydronic, and related mechanical systems.
• Develop layouts, calculations, and construction documents across all project phases.
• Perform system sizing, engineering analysis, and technical problem-solving.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external project stakeholders.
• Assist with construction documentation, specifications, and technical reporting.
• Support field coordination to ensure design intent is met during construction.
• Provide guidance to junior staff as appropriate.
