Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer PE (HVAC) to join our national engineering team. You will develop HVAC designs from concept through construction, coordinate with architecture, structure and other disciplines, and prepare calculations and layouts for complex projects. A PE license and 6–8+ years with an MEP/engineering firm are required.

Qualifications

• Active PE license is required.
• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 6–8+ years with MEP/engineering firm designing HVAC.
• Experience with Commercial, Public Sector, and Educational projects.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong client communication and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC designs from concept through construction.
• Coordinate HVAC with architecture, structure, and other disciplines.
• Prepare engineering calculations, mechanical layouts, and narratives.
• Engage with clients and assist in project objectives and documentation.
• Support business development by assisting the RFP and interview processes.
• Participate in industry organizations and communities.
