Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Project Executive to lead commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical construction projects from initial client engagement through final completion. This role bridges Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service with external stakeholders.

The candidate will drive project lifecycles, manage budgets, and pursue new business opportunities while coordinating multiple departments in a high‑level, high‑stakes environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in commercial mechanical project management.
• Experience managing HVAC/plumbing projects or related estimating, design and management.
• BS degree; MBA or Master’s degree and/or PE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single source of responsibility for all projects with clear judgment and discretion.
• Coordinate and supervise staff across Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction and Service.
• Manage project life cycles from client engagement through completion.
• Assist in estimating, design, proposals, presentations and contract negotiations.
• Prepare budgets and control costs within approved limits.
• Develop new business and maintain client/vendor relationships.
