Job summary

HVAC RNTL is seeking a Lead HVAC Mechanic to layout, install, and supervise installation teams on customer sites. You will perform startup, testing, and diagnostics of applied HVAC equipment, while coordinating with Project Managers and customers to ensure smooth startups and on-time delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC/chiller maintenance, strong problem solving, and the ability to read wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required and valid driver’s license.
• Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training are required.
• 5+ years in chiller/HVAC maintenance or related fields is preferred.
• Electrical knowledge and EPA certification are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Layout and install applied HVAC equipment independently with minimal direction.
• Supervise a team of installation technicians on customer sites.
• Perform startup, document logs, and coordinate with Project Managers and customers.
• Perform depot maintenance, tests, and refrigerant handling per safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and read wiring diagrams.
• Lead multiple chiller applications and ensure quality first-time execution.
