Job summary

HVAC RNTL is seeking a Master HVAC Technician to perform installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and repair of applied HVAC equipment on job sites. The role includes depot maintenance, customer education, and coordination with Project Managers and Service Coordinators.

The ideal candidate has 5–15 years in commercial HVAC, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in diverse conditions. OSHA 10 and EPA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must have current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training plus 5-15 years’ experience working as a Service Technician in a commercial environment.
• 5+ years’ experience in chiller/HVAC maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• Electrical knowledge required and EPA Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and start-up equipment with the ability to troubleshoot and repair applied HVAC equipment on job sites.
• Depot maintenance, testing, repair and customer education on all applied equipment.
• Live circuit troubleshooting of applied equipment up to 1000 tons.
• Provide remote technical support for applied equipment.
• Support equipment sales with job site walks.
• Commission low temperature applications.
• Install and commission water-cooled and air-cooled chiller projects.
