Job summary

Clark College is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 3 - HVAC Technician to maintain, repair, and construct HVAC systems across campus. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm, in person, and requires strong BAS and controls experience, along with CMMS data entry and coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

Completion of a recognized HVAC technician course/program and two years of experience in the commercial HVAC field.
Two years of experience working with control wiring.
Current valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Understanding of practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment in commercial HVAC.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair all portions of HVAC systems including ducts, air handlers, chillers, boilers, VFDs and pumps.
Program, operate, and evaluate BAS controls and Desigo software.
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and related systems.
Lead and interact with contractors and vendors for HVAC work.
Maintain hydronic piping systems including piping, valves, and low voltage wiring.
Respond to emergencies and off-hours calls as required.
Estimate materials and time, order parts, and read blueprints.
Enter and monitor data in CMMS and BAS as needed.
Operate tools and assist other trades when required.
