Job summary

Complete Building Services in Washington, DC seeks an HVAC Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, boilers, and chillers across the property portfolio. Read drawings and monitor BAS to optimize energy efficiency while coordinating with management, tenants, and contractors.

The role requires a DC 3rd Class Engineer's License and 3–5 years of hands-on experience. On-call rotations and adherence to safety protocols are expected.

Qualifications

• Washington, DC 3rd Class Engineer's License required.
• 3–5 years of hands-on commercial HVAC repair experience.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues on HVAC equipment.
• Strong communication skills with tenants, management, and coworkers.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems and boilers.
• Read and interpret drawings and equipment manuals.
• Respond to service requests and alarms to minimize downtime.
• Monitor BAS and adjust HVAC settings for energy efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance records for compliance and reporting.
• Communicate status with management, tenants, and contractors.
