Job summary

RTX is seeking a Facilities Lead Technician (HVAC Specialist) to lead maintenance and repairs for complex HVAC systems at our Virginia site. You will supervise performance, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety and reliability of mechanical systems.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, EPA certification, and strong skills in troubleshooting, BAS interfaces, and reading blueprints. Onsite role with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of facilities HVAC technician and leadership experience.
• Universal EPA Certification and hands-on HVAC maintenance expertise.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic controls, thermostats, VAV boxes, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks for HVAC systems.
• Act as primary contact for escalations, service requests, and facility emergencies.
• Oversee external contractors for MEP work with safety and quality controls.
• Support CMMS for routine and preventive maintenance activities.
• Review drawings, specs, and blueprints to install or modify systems.
