Job summary

HVAC RNTL is seeking a Lead HVAC Mechanic to independently layout and install applied HVAC equipment while supervising installation technicians on site. You will coordinate with Project Managers and customers to ensure successful startups and ongoing maintenance.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in chillers/HVAC maintenance, a strong understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to train junior technicians in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience in chiller/HVAC maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Layout and install applied HVAC equipment independently with minimal direction.
• Supervise a team of installation technicians on customer job sites.
• Perform startup of applied equipment and complete log sheets after startup.
• Communicate with end-user customers on installation and startup; answer questions as needed.
• Perform depot maintenance, testing and repairs including refrigerant handling and piping leaks.
• Lead a team of installers on multiple chiller applications.
