Job summary

McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning Services of MD, LLC., located in Temple Hills, MD, is seeking a Lead Installer to lead a two-person crew in the safe, efficient installation of residential HVAC systems.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC installation practices, ductwork modification, and working with various refrigerants and electrical systems. Overtime and weekend work may be required; the company offers benefits and licensing support.

Qualifications

• CFC certification is required.
• Working knowledge of residential HVAC installation practices.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and work with team members.
• Valid driver’s license is required; journeyman license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace residential HVAC equipment (furnaces, heat pumps, A/C, air handlers, water heaters).
• Install ductless mini-split systems and related components.
• Modify, fabricate, and adjust ductwork for installations.
• Safely work with refrigerants, gas, and electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Perform brazing and other HVAC procedures using torches and fuels.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and ensure customer satisfaction.
