Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. seeks a Senior Field Service Technician – HVAC for Ohio.

You will perform on-site installations, startup, preventive maintenance and commissioning, supervising contractors to meet safety and schedule requirements. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex cooling systems, providing training to technicians, and delivering remote support while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC or cooling systems.
• 3–5 years of experience working with Mitsubishi Electric technology.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site services including installations, start-ups, preventive maintenance, and commissioning.
• Lead contractors and designated personnel to meet site requirements safely and on schedule.
• Provide technical support via telephone and email to customers and partners.
• Train technicians and service providers to troubleshoot complex IT cooling product issues.
• Troubleshoot and complete advanced system installations and repairs.
• Provide on-call emergency field service and technical assistance.
• Collaborate with other divisions to resolve issues and help develop new products.
• Test and diagnose returned products to determine defects.
• Maintain accurate service records and test results for all customer activities.
• Recommend preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
• Submit accurate expense reports and conduct all business professionally.
