Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. in the United States seeks a Field Service Technician – IT Cooling to perform on-site start-up, preventative maintenance, and servicing of IT cooling and electro-mechanical equipment at customer sites.

You will troubleshoot refrigeration systems, read schematics, and work with customers and partners. A 2–5 year HVAC/refrigeration background and EPA 608 certification are required. MEPP offers strong benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC or refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up services, preventative and remedial maintenance, field modifications, and testing of IT Cooling equipment at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration and electro-mechanical systems using schematics and testing tools; complete repairs as needed.
• Handle refrigerant tasks on R410A systems including leak detection and charging.
• Troubleshoot HVAC electrical and control systems to restore functionality.
• Provide technical support to internal teams, partners, and end users.
• Test returned equipment to assess defects and readiness for operation.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergency field support.
• Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs, and installations.
• Collaborate on power equipment installations and related activities.
• Submit expense reports per policy.
