Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Service Engineering professional to support complex diagnostic work, maintain strong communications with customers and field teams, and deliver actionable reports. You will cover the Midwest and Central US, applying deep HVAC knowledge and technical leadership to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry in a technical support role.
• 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass an MVR with a Clean and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains effective communications with key customers and field team members to ensure product enhancements/improvements are complete and accurate.
• Maintains frequent contact with key customers which requires a high degree of tact and courtesy.
• Acts as the expert in product knowledge/subject matter.
• Performs highly complex diagnostic procedures.
• Prepares reports for senior leadership displaying interpreted test information to resolve design/system related problems and to ensure continuous improvement.
• Communicates technical information to technical/non-technical stakeholders including senior leadership.
• Ensures that key customers and field teams are kept informed on outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, or repairs.
