Job summary

Cochise County in Bisbee is looking for an HVAC Technician / Facilities Maintenance Worker III to perform senior level maintenance of building, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, with supervision of a crew. The role requires reading blueprints and strong construction skills in varying conditions.

Amended rate of pay is $25.00 hourly with a comprehensive benefits package; a post offer background screening is required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of senior level experience in building maintenance with utility systems focus.
• One (1) year in a supervisory capacity, if required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license and county insurance eligibility.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Perform senior level work in building, facility and utility systems operations, maintenance, repair and adjustment.
• Inspect facilities, establish preventative maintenance schedules, and perform predictive maintenance.
• Supervise workers engaged in grounds and/or maintenance as required.
• Read blueprints, sketches and layouts to plan tasks.
