Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to oversee and perform operation, maintenance, and optimization of building HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems. You will supervise technicians, coordinate vendors, manage CMMS logs, and support capital projects to ensure reliable building operations.

The role requires extensive HVAC experience, ability to read complex drawings, and licensure in Maryland; EMS/BMS and BAS familiarity is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in facilities engineering or building operations in commercial or industrial settings.
• Extensive HVAC operation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance experience.
• Experience with high‑pressure boilers and central plant equipment.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, plumbing drawings and specs.
• CMMS experience and familiarity with EMS/BMS and fire alarm systems.
• Strong MS Office skills and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate safe, efficient operation of HVAC and life‑safety systems.
• Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain boilers, chillers, pumps, AHUs and related equipment.
• Lead preventive maintenance plans, inspect systems, and optimize performance.
• Review maintenance logs and work orders in CMMS; prioritize tasks.
• Coordinate vendors and supervise maintenance teams and handypersons.
• Support capital projects and facility improvements while minimizing downtime.
